VIJAY A. CHEVLI, ASA

Biography

Vijay Chevli is a Managing Principal of Mentor Securities and a Managing Director of The Mentor Group. As a member of the firm’s national investment banking group, Mr. Chevli regularly advises clients on a variety of engagements, including representing buyers and sellers of companies, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, leveraged transactions, fairness opinions, and raising debt and equity capital. These sell side assignments involved retail, food processing, consumer goods, entertainment, telecommunications, software, electronics, healthcare and medical devices, aerospace, restaurants and travel/leisure.

He has provided financial advisory services to private and public firms. Analyses included fairness and solvency opinions; valuations of common and preferred stock and stock options; intellectual property appraisals; restructuring/recapitalizations; and, pre-IPO studies.

Prior to joining Mentor Securities, he spent four years in the Los Angeles office of Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin Capital where he represented over 30 middle market clients on the sale of their businesses, and on numerous private placement and other corporate finance transactions. Mr. Chevli also worked at Wasserstein Perella & Co. (WP&Co.), where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, takeover defense advisory, solicitations, and strategic advisory services for clients in diverse industry segments. While at WP&Co. he advised on transactions exceeding $11 billion.
