Bert Jones

Bert Jones is a Senior Appraiser with The Mentor Group, Inc. He manages and performs appraisals for a wide variety of equipment and machinery - from computers and peripherals to steel making and MRI’s. On numerous occasions he has testified in court as an expert witness.

Mr. Jones conducts auctions, liquidations and normal equipment sales. He is also experienced in sampling and appraisals for most types of inventory - from seafood to finished plastic parts. His work has been scrutinized and used by many financial institutions, as well as objectively satisfying government agencies such as FDIC and IRS.

Prior to joining The Mentor Group, Mr. Jones was an asset and inventory appraiser with Great American. He also served as Manager of Liquidation Division for Foothill Thrift and Loan. Also, he worked in construction scheduling and equipment surveys in England.
