Mr. Epperson is Senior Manager at The Mentor Group, Inc. He has more than twenty years of professional experience preparing numerous cost segregation studies of new and used construction. These depreciations analysis have significantly reduced taxes for clients in industrial, retail, office, medical, residential rental, refineries, auto dealerships, broadcast facilities, and high-tech operations.
Mr. Epperson has significant professional expertise relating to construction, engineering and architectural services, and has performed real estate valuation for use in purchase price allocation and property taxes. Construction studies have involved planning, budgeting, cost control and completion revisions. He has successfully defended his cost segregations with the IRS, as well as testified in Court proceedings. In addition, Mr. Epperson has developed proprietary software for direct costing of property units and allocation of indirects. His comprehensive understanding of what constitutes a structural component versus tangible property is key to creating significant tax savings for major corporations.
Prior to joining the Mentor Group, Inc., Mr. Epperson was senior manager with Arthur Consulting Group. He is a licensed General Contractor in California.
